As we begin 2026 and celebrate our 100th year of service, I’m proud of the legacy of this department and genuinely excited to lead it as your Chief. This milestone matters, but what we do next matters even more. As our nation also marks America’s 250th anniversary, it’s a fitting reminder of the enduring importance of public service and the responsibility we carry in our communities.​
